- 28 g (2 tablespoons) Unsalted butter 82% fat

- 30 g (¼ cups) Powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 600 g (21 ounce) Blueberry pie filling or

- 400 g (14 ounce) Angel food cake or
- make my sponge cake recipe
Instructions
- In a saucepan, whisk together whole milk, granulated sugar, egg yolks, corn starch, all-purpose flour, and vanilla extract over medium heat until thickened.
- Remove from heat, stir in unsalted butter until melted, and allow to cool.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to soft peaks and fold into cooled mixture.
- For the chantilly layer, combine heavy cream, mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, then whip until medium peaks form.
- Layer the angel food cake with blueberry pie filling and the creamy mixture in a serving dish.
- Top with the chantilly cream and garnish with additional blueberries.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Ensure the cream is very cold for better whipping. Use homemade blueberry pie filling for extra flavor.
