  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. For the glaze, whisk together the maple syrup, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and melted butter in a small bowl until smooth.
  9. Dip the tops of the cooled donuts in the glaze and let them set before serving.
