Description

Delight in the warm, cinnamon-spiced joy of Apple Pie Enchiladas, a creative twist on classic apple pie wrapped in soft tortillas and baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Homemade Apple Pie Filling or 1 21 ounce can apple pie filling
  • 6 8 inch flour tortillas
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon, cooking until the sugars dissolve.
  3. Add the water to the mixture and bring it to a simmer.
  4. Spread a thin layer of the apple pie filling onto each tortilla and roll them up tightly.
  5. Place the rolled tortillas in a baking dish and pour the butter-sugar mixture over them.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, drizzled with the remaining sauce from the baking dish.

Notes

Feel free to top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
