Ingredients
- Apples
- Granulated sugar
- Cornstarch
- Ground cinnamon
- Ground nutmeg
- Ground allspice
- Water
- Unsalted butter
- Lemon juice
- Bisquick mix
- Milk
- Cinnamon
Instructions
- Begin by peeling and slicing the apples into thin wedges, then place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add granulated sugar, cornstarch, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground allspice, water, unsalted butter, and lemon juice to the apples. Toss until well mixed and set aside.
- In another bowl, combine Bisquick mix and milk to create a lumpy batter. This will be your cobbler topping.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Spread the apple mixture evenly in the baking pan or individual ramekins, then dollop the Bisquick batter evenly over the top.
- Dust with a little cinnamon if desired, then carefully place the pan in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for about 25 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
- Carefully remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For best results, use firm baking apples and adjust the sugar according to your taste preference. If using ramekins, adjust cooking time as needed based on their size.
