- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 (16-oz. packages) potato gnocchi
- 2 (4-oz.) balls fresh burrata cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- sliced or torn
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the garlic cloves, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add the cherry tomatoes, red pepper flakes, kosher salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the tomatoes start to burst.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float, then drain.
- Add the gnocchi to the skillet and gently toss to coat in the creamy tomato sauce.
- Serve topped with diced burrata and fresh basil.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference. Fresh basil enhances the flavor significantly, so don’t skip it!
