  • 1 pound ground beef – Lean ground beef works best

  • 1 small onion – Diced for added flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic – Minced for a rich
  • aromatic taste.
  • 1 cup tomato sauce – A flavorful base for the filling.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese – Mozzarella

  • or parmesan work well.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil – For sautéing the beef and onions.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning – A blend of herbs for extra flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika – Adds a subtle smokiness.
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 3-5 minutes.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture into the hollowed-out zucchinis, packing it in well.
  6. Top each loaded zucchini with shredded cheese.
  7. Place the zucchini boats in a baking dish and cover loosely with aluminum foil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
