Ingredients
Unsalted butter
at room temperature
Icing sugar
sifted
Salt
Vanilla extract
All-purpose flour

Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and icing sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add a pinch of salt and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the sifted all-purpose flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, flattening them slightly.
- Make an indentation in the center of each cookie and fill it with a small spoonful of strawberry jam.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a different flavor, try using raspberry or apricot jam in place of strawberry.
