Instructions

  • In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and icing sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add a pinch of salt and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until well combined.
  • Gradually add the sifted all-purpose flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, flattening them slightly.
  • Make an indentation in the center of each cookie and fill it with a small spoonful of strawberry jam.
