Description
Sweet, creamy, and aromatic cinnamon honey butter that elevates rolls, pancakes, muffins, and desserts — a homemade Texas Roadhouse favorite.
Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
1/2 cup honey (preferably raw or mild-flavored)
1/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
Prepare Butter Base: Beat softened butter in a large bowl with a hand or stand mixer for 1–2 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add Honey & Sugar: Gradually mix in honey, then sifted powdered sugar, beating until smooth and glossy (~2–3 minutes).
Add Cinnamon & Vanilla: Mix in cinnamon and vanilla extract on low speed until evenly incorporated. Taste and add a pinch of salt if desired.
Adjust Consistency: Refrigerate 15–20 minutes for firmer butter or leave 10–15 minutes at room temperature for softer spread.
Serve: Spoon into a ramekin, optionally drizzle with honey or sprinkle cinnamon. Enjoy with rolls, muffins, pancakes, waffles, or toast.
Notes
Ensure butter is softened, not melted.
Sift powdered sugar to prevent clumps.
Adjust cinnamon and honey to taste.
