Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp table salt
12 tbsp unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp grated orange zest
3/4 cup dried cranberries

8 oz cream cheese
1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp orange juice
1 tsp orange zest

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, cream the unsalted butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the beaten eggs, vanilla extract, and orange zest to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the dried cranberries and chopped white chocolate.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the frosting, beat the softened cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, orange juice, and orange zest until smooth.
- Once the bars are cool, spread the cream cheese frosting on top.
- Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the frosting and sprinkle with chopped dried cranberries.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
