Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy almond butter, mashed sweet potato, pure maple syrup, egg, and pure vanilla extract until smooth.
- Sift in the unsweetened cocoa powder, baking soda, and sea salt; mix until just combined.
- Fold in most of the chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle the reserved chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool in the pan before slicing into squares and serving.
