washed and dried

1 tablespoon grated lemon zest (optional)

plus 2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons sugar

1 teaspoon Aleppo chile flakes or other mild chile flakes like Urfa

Kosher salt (such as Diamond Crystal)


Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the washed grapes, lemon zest, lemon juice, sugar, and Aleppo chile flakes. Toss gently to coat the grapes evenly.
  • Spread the coated grapes on a baking sheet in a single layer and sprinkle a little kosher salt on top.
  • Freeze the grapes for at least 2 hours or until solid.
  • Once frozen, serve immediately as a refreshing snack or dessert.
