80 ml olive oil

13 g sugar

5 g salt

65 g pecans

90 g brown sugar

60 g butter

5 ml vanilla extract


Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
  • Add flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture and stir until combined.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread the dough into a greased baking pan.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat, stirring until combined.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the dough and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving.
