1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup shredded cheese
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the sourdough discard, flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- Add the olive oil and shredded cheese to the dough, mixing until fully incorporated. If using garlic powder or dried herbs, add them now.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently until smooth.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle about ½-inch thick, then cut into strips or desired shapes.
- Place the breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
