Ingredients

red onions

Instructions
- If using raw shrimp, steam them until cooked, then allow to cool. If pre-cooked, simply thaw if frozen.
- Cut ripe but firm avocado into bite-sized pieces and add them to a mixing bowl.
- Finely chop the red onion and add it to the bowl. If desired, let the onion sit in the dressing for 5 minutes first.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, cumin, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl with avocado and onion, then drizzle with the dressing and toss gently to combine.
- Serve immediately for the best texture, garnishing with extra lime if desired.
