Ingredients
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese softened
2 cups powdered sugar
2/3 teaspoon matcha powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
green food coloring (gel works best)
2 ½ cups white chocolate melts or shredded white chocolate
1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional for smoother drizzle)
optional pinch of matcha powder for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, matcha powder, vanilla extract, and green food coloring, mixing until well combined.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- Once the mixture is firm, scoop out small portions and roll them into balls.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate melts with coconut oil (if using) until smooth.
- Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate coating and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
- Optional: Drizzle extra melted white chocolate over the truffles and dust with matcha powder for garnish.
- Allow the truffles to set before serving.
