1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

3 ripe bananas (about 1 ¼ cups mashed)

½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted

½ cup (130g) creamy peanut butter

¾ cup (150g) brown sugar, lightly packed

2 large eggs (room temperature)

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

½ cup (90g) semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy lifting later.

Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt until evenly combined. Set aside.

Step 3: Mash the Bananas
In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth but slightly chunky. The more overripe the bananas, the better the flavor and moisture.

Step 4: Combine Wet Ingredients
Add melted butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
