Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the large egg and a splash of water to create an egg wash.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into strips, about 2 inches wide.
  • In another bowl, mix the canned pumpkin, granulated sugar, and pumpkin pie spice until well combined.
  • Spread a thin layer of the pumpkin mixture onto each strip of puff pastry, then fold the pastry over to encase the filling.
  • Twist each pastry strip and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
