These Puff Pastry Christmas Trees are a festive and delicious treat, filled with sweet Biscoff spread and spiced with ginger, perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients
Two sheets of thawed vegan puff pastry
Biscoff spread
ground ginger
granulated sugar
dairy-free milk
icing sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the vegan puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut them into tree shapes.
- Spread the Biscoff spread over half of each tree shape, then fold the top over to create a sandwich.
- Using a sharp knife, make cuts on the edges of the pastry to form the ‘branches’ of the tree.
- Brush the tops of the trees with dairy-free milk and sprinkle with granulated sugar for a sparkling effect.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with icing sugar before serving.
Notes
For a twist, you can substitute ground ginger with ground cinnamon or nutmeg. Use flavored sugars for added taste.
