1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup pecans
chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup (light or dark)
1/4 cup unsalted butter
melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 egg (for egg wash)
Powdered sugar (for dusting
optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up tightly.
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and beat the egg for an egg wash, brushing it over each roll.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
