1 cup fresh peaches
diced
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
melted
1 package donut dough (store-bought is great)
8 oz cream cheese
softened
1/4 cup honey
1 egg
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a bowl, mix diced peaches with 1/4 cup of sugar, and set aside for a few minutes to macerate.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, donut dough, and the remaining sugar until well mixed.
- In a separate mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, honey, and egg until smooth.
- Fold the macerated peaches into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spoon donut dough into the pan, filling each cavity halfway.
- Add a dollop of the peach cheesecake mixture on top of the dough.
- Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top of each donut.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before removing from the pan and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a dash of cinnamon to the peach mixture. These donuts are best served fresh but can be stored for a couple of days in an airtight container.
