Perfect for family dinners or gatherings, it’s a dish that satisfies both burger and pasta cravings in one cheesy bite!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Meat Layer:

1 ½ pounds (680 g) ground beef (80/20 blend preferred)

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon salt

6 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked crisp and chopped

1 ½ cups (150 g) shredded cheddar cheese

For the Parmesan Garlic Sauce:

3 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups (480 ml) whole milk

1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream

1 ½ cups (150 g) grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Lasagna Layers:

12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente

1 ½ cups (150 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup (50 g) shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)

¼ cup (15 g) chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Bacon
Cook bacon until crisp — either in a skillet over medium heat or baked in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes. Let cool, then chop into small pieces. Set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Meat Mixture
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent (about 3 minutes). Add ground beef and cook until browned (6–8 minutes), breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess grease.
Season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in bacon and cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Set aside.

Step 3: Make the Parmesan Garlic Sauce
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk while whisking to avoid lumps.
Stir in heavy cream and cook until thickened (5–7 minutes). Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth and silky. Remove from heat.

Step 4: Prepare the Noodles
Cook lasagna noodles until al dente, drain, and lay flat on parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Step 5: Assemble the Lasagna
Spread a thin layer of Parmesan sauce in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Add 3 noodles, one-third of the meat mixture, and more sauce.
Repeat layers — noodles, meat, sauce — finishing with noodles and sauce.
Top with mozzarella and remaining cheddar cheese.

Step 6: Bake
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.

Step 7: Rest and Serve
Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a spoonful of cream cheese to the Parmesan sauce.

Shred your own cheese for the best melt and flavor.

Letting the lasagna rest before slicing keeps layers intact.

For spice lovers, add jalapeños or red pepper flakes to the meat layer.
