2 lb beef sliced very thin
4 cup broccoli cut into bite size pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves (pressed)
1 cup hot water
5 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
3 tsp corn starch
3 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the pressed garlic to the pan and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the broccoli and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the hot water, soy sauce, brown sugar, corn starch, and sesame oil until smooth.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli mixture, stirring until everything is well coated and the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy your One-Pan Beef & Broccoli!
Notes
For an extra touch, serve with steamed rice or quinoa. Adjust the sweetness by modifying the brown sugar to your taste.
