1 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup cream cheese
softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup cherry pie filling
1 cup whole cherries (fresh or canned)
1/2 cup extra chocolate chips for topping
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over low heat until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in the dark chocolate chips until smooth and melted.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the granulated sugar and vanilla extract until creamy. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture and mix until well combined.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into the pre-made graham cracker pie crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the chocolate layer. After that, scatter the whole cherries on top and sprinkle with extra chocolate chips.
