Instructions
- In a bowl, mix 3-4g of matcha powder with the cream cheese or mascarpone until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the matcha mixture.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy, then fold into the matcha and cream mixture.
- Dip each ladyfinger in a mixture with the remaining matcha and layer them in a serving dish with the cream mixture.
- Repeat the layers and finish with a thick layer of cream on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best flavor.
- Before serving, sprinkle the top with the remaining matcha powder.
Notes
For a richer flavor, let the tiramisu set overnight in the refrigerator. You can substitute the ladyfingers with sponge cake if you prefer.
