Ingredients

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips of choice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the white whole wheat flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the granulated sweetener, unsweetened applesauce, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
