1 package of frozen croissant dough (810 croissants)

1 cup of shredded kunafa dough

1 cup of ricotta cheese

1/2 cup of sugar

1/2 cup of milk

1/4 cup of unsalted butter

melted

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1/4 cup of crushed pistachios (for garnish)

Honey or syrup (for drizzling)


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  • Roll out the croissant dough and cut it into triangles.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the kunafa dough, ricotta cheese, sugar, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  • Place a triangle of croissant dough in each muffin tin cup, pressing the edges to conform to the shape of the tin.
  • Fill each croissant cup with the kunafa mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and drizzle with honey or syrup. Garnish with crushed pistachios before serving.
