Ingredients
Scale
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
3 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
4 (6-oz.) salmon fillets
Kosher salt

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes until combined.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper and sear, skin-side down, for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Transfer the salmon to the prepared baking sheet and brush with the honey-garlic mixture. Add minced garlic and lemon slices on top of each fillet.
- Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the salmon and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve the salmon drizzled with additional sauce and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For an extra layer of flavor, marinate the salmon in the honey-garlic mixture for 30 minutes before cooking.
