This Homemade BBQ Sauce is a perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors, making it an ideal condiment for your grilled meats.
Ingredients

1 ½ cups brown sugar
1 ½ cups ketchup
½ cup red wine vinegar
½ cup water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 ½ tablespoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt
1 ½ teaspoons black pepper
2 dashes hot pepper sauce
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, ketchup, red wine vinegar, and water.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, paprika, salt, black pepper, and hot pepper sauce.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it begins to simmer.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool before using or storing in a sealed container.
