Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In another bowl, cream the unsalted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing well until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips.
- Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out cookies from the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
