Ingredients
8–10 slices of soft white sandwich bread
8–10 slices of your favorite melting cheese (Cheddar

Monterey Jack
Colby Jack
Provolone)
4–5 tablespoons of unsalted butter
softened
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
pinch of paprika (optional)
dried Italian herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by removing the crusts from the bread slices and flatten each slice using a rolling pin.
- Lay a slice of cheese on each flattened bread slice, making sure to not overfill it.
- Roll the bread tightly around the cheese and secure it with toothpicks if necessary.
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder and any additional seasonings you like.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of the butter mixture.
- Add the rolled-up sandwiches to the skillet seam-side down and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly before slicing into bite-sized pieces. Serve warm and enjoy!
