Ingredients
Plain Greek yogurt (1 cup
full-fat or 2%)
Olive oil (3 tablespoons)
Garlic (4 cloves

Dried oregano (1½ teaspoons)
Smoked paprika (1 teaspoon)
Ground cumin (½ teaspoon)

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice and zest, dried oregano, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours for maximum flavor.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the marinated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and has an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges before serving.
Notes
For the best results, marinate the chicken for several hours or overnight. This allows the flavors to penetrate deeper into the meat.
