2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/4 cup honey
1–2 tablespoons chili flakes (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
3/4 cup warm water (approximately 110°F or 43°C)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, crumbled feta, honey, chili flakes, and salt.
- Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes on a floured surface until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the risen dough, then shape it into rolls.
- Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 20 minutes.
- Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the amount of chili flakes based on your heat preference. These rolls are best served warm.
