Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Scrub the potatoes under cold water and dry them thoroughly.
- Prick each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.
- Rub the potatoes with a little olive oil and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 30-40 minutes until the skin is crispy and a fork easily penetrates the flesh.
- Remove the potatoes from the oven, slice them open, and fluff the insides with a fork.
- Add a generous amount of butter, sprinkle with more flaky sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, and serve hot.
