1 cup graham cracker crumbs
3 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons white sugar
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese softened
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup eggnog
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons rum
1 pinch ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and white sugar. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add white sugar, mixing until combined.
- Add eggnog, flour, eggs, rum, and nutmeg to the cream cheese mixture. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the filling over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
- Remove from oven and let cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Slice and serve chilled, garnished with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
For best flavor, chill the cheesecake overnight. You can also add more nutmeg on top for extra festive flair.
