2 packages crescent rolls
2 – 8 ounce packages of cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 stick butter
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Unroll one package of crescent rolls and layer them flat in the bottom of the baking dish, sealing any seams.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer in the baking dish.
- Unroll the second package of crescent rolls and place it over the cream cheese filling, sealing the seams again.
- Melt the stick of butter and brush it over the top layer of crescent rolls.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar, then sprinkle it generously over the buttered crescent rolls.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly, slice into bars, and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a drizzle of caramel sauce on top before serving.
