Instructions

- Add the melted coconut oil and warm water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, then cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into flat circles.
- In a deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry the flatten dough pieces until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the bunuelos from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- In a small bowl, mix the cane sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle generously over the warm bunuelos before serving.
