12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
2 cups shredded lettuce
9 slices American cheese
24–30 dill pickle slices
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 pound lean ground beef
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup finely chopped white onion
⅔ cup mayonnaise
2 ½ tablespoons sweet pickle relish
2 teaspoons sugar
1 ½ tablespoons yellow mustard
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, and chopped onion.
- Divide the beef mixture into equal portions and shape them into small patties that fit the slider buns.
- Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the Big Mac style sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, sugar, yellow mustard, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Brush the melted butter on the slider buns and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a patty on each bun, followed by cheese, lettuce, pickles, and a generous dollop of the sauce.
- Top with the other half of the bun, and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until the buns are golden.
