Description

Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter

20 oz mini marshmallows

½ tsp salt

2 tsp pure vanilla extract

9 oz Rice Krispies cereal

3 cups unsweetened coconut shreds

gel food coloring of your choice

1 ½ cup Nutella hazelnut spread

108 mini Cadbury eggs


Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.
  • Add the mini marshmallows and salt, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.
  • Add the coconut shreds and gel food coloring, mixing until combined.
  • Let the mixture cool slightly, then shape into nests on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Create an indentation in the center of each nest to hold the Nutella and mini Cadbury eggs.
  • Fill each nest with Nutella and top with mini Cadbury eggs.
  • Allow to set at room temperature or chill briefly before serving.

Notes

You can use different colors of gel food coloring for festive variations. Store in an airtight container.
