Description
These adorable Easter Egg Oreo Balls are a delightful no-bake chocolate treat perfect for celebrating the holiday. Coated in colorful chocolate, they are as fun to make as they are to eat!
Ingredients
36 Oreo cookies (regular
not Double Stuf)
8 oz (225 g) cream cheese
softened
12–16 oz white chocolate or vanilla candy melts for coating
Food coloring or colored candy melts (pastels work well)
Sprinkles or sanding sugar (optional)
1–2 tsp coconut oil or vegetable oil (optional
to thin chocolate)
Piping bags or zip-top bags for drizzle
Wax or parchment paper
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a zip-top bag and rolling pin.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix until fully combined and the mixture is moldable.
- Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into egg shapes. Place them on wax or parchment paper.
- Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth. If desired, add coconut oil or vegetable oil to thin it.
- Dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat them evenly. Use a fork to remove excess coating and return them to the wax paper.
- If using food coloring, divide the melted chocolate and tint it with your chosen colors. Drizzle colored chocolate over the coated Oreo balls using piping bags or zip-top bags.
- While the drizzle is still wet, sprinkle with colorful sprinkles or sanding sugar to enhance the festive look.
- Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving. Enjoy your cute, no-bake Easter Egg Oreo Balls!
