Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix well.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • For the topping, melt semisweet or milk chocolate chips with coconut oil or butter in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  • Spread the melted chocolate topping evenly over the cooled brownies.
  • Decorate with melted white chocolate, food coloring, mini candy eggs, and sprinkles as desired.
