Ingredients
Chicken breasts
Yellow onion
Carrots
Celery
Garlic
Fresh rosemary sprigs
Bay leaf
Salt
Black pepper
Chicken broth
Fusilli noodles
Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Add the chopped yellow onion, sliced carrots, diced celery, minced garlic, rosemary sprigs, bay leaf, salt, black pepper, and chicken broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Remove the chicken and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot.
- Add fusilli noodles and cook for an additional 20-30 minutes until the noodles are al dente.
- Discard the bay leaf and rosemary sprigs, stir in fresh parsley before serving.
