1 large head of cauliflower
cut into bite-sized florets
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
3/4 cup buffalo hot sauce
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp honey
Ranch or blue cheese dressing
for serving
Celery sticks
for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is well coated, before placing it on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy.
- While the cauliflower bakes, mix the buffalo hot sauce, melted butter, and honey in a bowl.
- Remove the cauliflower from the oven and toss it in the buffalo sauce mixture until well coated.
- Return the sauced cauliflower to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until crispy.
- Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks on the side.
Notes
You can adjust the level of spiciness by using more or less buffalo sauce.
