1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
¾ cup heavy cream
1 ½ tablespoons dried parsley
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add butter to the skillet and let it melt, then pour in the chicken broth, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, adding more broth if needed to keep the pasta from becoming dry.
- Once the pasta is cooked, reduce the heat, and add the Parmesan cheese and heavy cream. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Add dried parsley for garnish, and serve warm.
Notes
Feel free to substitute the chicken broth with vegetable broth for a vegetarian option. Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more heavy cream or chicken broth as necessary.
