Ingredients
2 cups cooked
shredded chicken
1 cup cream cheese
softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 package (2 sheets) of refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 egg
beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, frozen peas, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, then roll up starting from the wide end, sealing the edges to secure the filling.
- Place the rolled pillows on the prepared baking sheet, then brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
