Ingredients
Arby’s sauce: ketchup
light brown sugar
apple cider vinegar
Worcestershire sauce
garlic powder
onion powder
unsalted butter
all-purpose flour
whole milk
shredded sharp cheddar cheese
low sodium beef broth
thinly sliced deli roast beef
onion hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together ketchup, light brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder to create Arby’s sauce.
- In a saucepan, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Stir in all-purpose flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in whole milk until the mixture is smooth. Continue to cook until it thickens.
- Add shredded sharp cheddar cheese to the sauce, stirring until melted and creamy.
- In a skillet, heat low sodium beef broth and gently warm the thinly sliced deli roast beef.
- Toast the onion hamburger buns in a separate skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble the sandwiches by placing the warm roast beef on the bottom bun, topping it with Arby’s sauce, and drizzling the cheese sauce over it. Add the top bun and serve.

Feel free to customize the cheese and bun types to your liking. Leftover roast beef works great too!
