2 Tablespoons brown sugar

2 cups powdered sugar

1012 oz. chocolate chopped in small pieces (I used half of semi-sweet and half of milk chocolate) or use good quality candy coating


Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until smooth.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until fully incorporated and you have a thick mixture.
  • Shape the mixture into heart shapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for about 30 minutes until firm.
  • Melt the chocolate (or candy coating) in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  • Dip each peanut butter heart into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated, and place back on the baking sheet.
  • Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate for faster setting before serving.

Notes

For a more pronounced flavor, use high-quality chocolate. You can also drizzle melted chocolate over the set hearts for a decorative touch.
