Ingredients
For the crust:
1 ½ cups (150g) chocolate cookie crumbs (such as Oreos, finely crushed)
¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
For the chocolate filling:
1 ¼ cups (200g) semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup (120ml) heavy cream
8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup (240ml) whipped topping (or whipped cream, folded in gently)
For the peanut butter swirl:
½ cup (120g) creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk (adjust for desired consistency)
Optional garnish:
Chocolate curls or shavings
Crushed peanuts
Drizzle of melted chocolate or peanut butter
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the crust
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until evenly combined.
Press mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
Bake for 8 minutes, then let cool completely before filling.
Step 2: Make the chocolate filling
Warm the heavy cream in a small saucepan until steaming (do not boil).
Pour over the chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes. Stir until smooth and glossy.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add vanilla.
Mix in melted chocolate until combined.
Gently fold in whipped topping to make a fluffy filling.
Step 3: Prepare the peanut butter swirl
In a bowl, whisk peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
Adjust milk for a pourable but thick texture.
Step 4: Assemble the pie
Spread the chocolate filling evenly into the cooled crust.
Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture on top.
Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the two together to create a marbled pattern.
Step 5: Chill and set
Cover the pie with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate for 4 hours, or overnight, until firm.
Step 6: Garnish and serve
Add chocolate shavings, crushed peanuts, or drizzles before serving.
Slice with a warm, clean knife for neat cuts.
Notes
Don’t over-swirl the peanut butter; keeping visible ribbons gives a beautiful marble effect.
For a richer filling, use dark chocolate chips instead of semisweet.
To save time, use a store-bought chocolate crust.
This pie can also be made a day ahead — perfect for gatherings!
