Instructions
- Season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.
- Place two sage leaves on each cutlet and wrap them in prosciutto.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the wrapped chicken cutlets.
- Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add wine and broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Stir in butter until melted and the sauce is rich and flavorful.
Notes
For best results, use fresh sage and high-quality prosciutto. This dish pairs well with a side of sautéed vegetables or a light salad.
