Delicious Cheesy Garlic Pesto Chicken Sliders perfect for any gathering, featuring tender chicken, melty mozzarella, and a flavorful pesto garlic butter.

12 count package slider rolls
6 Tbsp unsalted butter melted
4 cloves garlic finely minced
2 tsp minced fresh parsley
2/3 cup basil pesto homemade or store-bought (divided)
2 cups cooked and shredded chicken a rotisserie chicken is great for this
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, minced parsley, and 1/3 cup of pesto.
- Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Spread half of the garlic pesto mixture over the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Layer the shredded chicken over the pesto, followed by the mozzarella cheese.
- Spread the remaining pesto mixture over the chicken and top with the other half of the slider rolls.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with any remaining garlic butter mixture and season with salt and pepper.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding some sun-dried tomatoes or fresh spinach to the chicken layer.
