Ingredients
Ground pork sausage
Whole milk
Plain flour
Fine salt
Ground black pepper
Streaky bacon
Flatbreads
Fresh spinach
Cheddar Jack cheese
Cherry tomatoes
Large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground pork sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add a little oil, if necessary, and cook the streaky bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble it.
- In a saucepan, whisk together the whole milk and plain flour over medium heat until thickened. Season with fine salt and ground black pepper.
- Prepare the flatbreads on a baking sheet. Spread the thickened gravy over each flatbread.
- Top with cooked sausage, crumbled bacon, fresh spinach, and Cheddar Jack cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- While baking, cook large eggs according to your preference (poached or scrambled).
- Remove flatbreads from the oven and top with cherry tomatoes and a cooked egg.
- Serve and enjoy your hearty breakfast flatbreads!
